To quote Wikipedia,
‘A guestbook (also guest book, visitor log, visitors’ book, visitors’ album) is a paper or electronic means for a visitor to acknowledge a visit to a site, physical or web-based, and leave details such as their name, postal or electronic address, and any comments.’
A guestbook, in the context of a wedding, can be absolutely anything! No really… and the more unique it is, the better! I am always in favour of a good book so my vote would normally be there, however some of the following options could make me reconsider!
This is SO adorable. Taking inspiration from a penny slot machine.
This cute alternative leaves room for all guests to sign a name. Probably not big enough for messages.
An actual puzzle! Could be a beautiful idea to make the puzzle on your first anniversary.
This is a lovely idea; have your guests sign a monogram and hang up in your first house.
This is the most unique idea I have seen to date. Guests sign a piece of spare table runner that has been cut up into squares. The bride and groom then turn it into a quilt! Genius!
This is a very romantic idea…just not sure how practical…but who needs practical at a wedding right?! Sharpie up!
Consider how many wine bottles will be opened throughout the duration of your wedding. Save money and paper and put the corks to good use! Either get people to sign them – or make pretty pictures with them!! Genius!
Get your Jenga pieces signed and remember your wedding day every time you play Jenga! Great fun!
Completely forgotten about the guest book? Fear not – even a calender works! Get guests to sign on their birthdays..and you will never miss a birthday again!
This is super cute! Compile a whole folder of these – always makes for fun reading!
O.M.G This is freaking amazing! Get your guests to VIDEO a message! Why write when you can speak!
Get guests to sign a polaroid of themselves with either the message at the back or in a book.
Get your guests to hang their well wishes on the tree for you to take home and decorate your house with!
This is such a gorgeous idea for a rustic wedding! Fill your box with little notes from your guests.
Awww! Similar to the guestbox but so so so so much cuter!!!
